For Filipinas in their next chapter

The chapter nobody wrote about.

The latest stories, ideas and conversations right in your inbox.

Children become independent. Careers plateau, or even begin again. Health changes. Friendships evolve. Parents age. Purpose starts to matter more than achievement. HerNext is the platform and community for that season, made for Filipina women entering their second act.

Helping Your Parents Let Go of Clutter

Turning the Page

October 10, 2026

I remember in my twenties excitedly buying my favorite magazines. Back then, it was Preview, Cosmopolitan, or Mega. I’d pore over the latest fashion, the personality quizzes, the dating advice and my favorite artistas. They were my guides, my roadmap, my style bible, for better or for worse.  These days (and 30 years later), I get most of my information from social media algorithms: Reels, links passed around in my barkada chat groups, and an endless stream of content from Western media, TikTok creators and, occasionally, relevant journalism. But so much of it is created with either younger audiences in mind or Western environments. And while there is certainly content that speaks to women at my stage of life, I often find myself wanting something more relevant to the experience of being a Pinay in this particular stage of life.

I’m not ready to be defined by what comes with getting older. And I’m not interested in pretending to be 25 either (even if sometimes I wish I could).

Talking to the women in my circle, I find that we are working, building, changing careers, caring for parents, managing money, navigating changing bodies and relationships, starting businesses, travelling, learning new things and, sometimes, simply figuring out what we want next.

We are somewhere in between: experienced enough to know ourselves better, and curious enough for our mind to keep jumping ahead.

That’s why I created HerNext.

This is a place for conversations about health, career, money, relationships and life, from a perspective that recognizes that the second half could be even more exciting than the first.  Here you’ll find expert advice, personal stories, ideas worth exploring and women doing things they never expected to do.

There is no single blueprint for what comes next.

Maybe it’s a new career. A stronger body. A business. A marathon. A decluttered home. A different relationship with money. Or simply the freedom to finally do more of what makes us happy.

Whatever it is, this is your next chapter. I’m here to explore it with you.

Welcome to HerNext.
